ketchuping, ketching up, I mean catching up!

This post is not actually about ketchup. I have a lot of things to "blog" about so sorry if you are bad a keeping up with my catching up but there are things that grandmas and grandpas need to know about. First, Joey, about two weeks ago, started riding his bike like he should, just one day he suddenly could do it perfect. I think it was his Papa's magical presence. Papa got to Cedar and about 5 minutes later took Joey out on his bike and Joey rode round and round the playground (our backyard) steering perfectly and everything.

If you are a parent who has been able to catch your kids best moments on camera you're dang lucky. From my experience, my kids will be going all out until I pull out the camera, even if they don't see it they suddenly get lame. Well, the other day Joey was having his own little dance party, when I pulled out the camera he mellowed out, but it was still good. He's such a fun little guy.

Happy Halloween ... belated

So I know it was a week ago ... blogging is last on my priority list (but still a priority).

For Halloween Joey and Daniel were a monkey and banana. I made Daniel's costume, Joey's we found at Children's Place and grandma bought it for him. We had some friends, Kenneth adn Tawnya, for dinner and then took the kids trick-or-treating. The picture of Joey isn't very good. I'm hoping to get one from Tawnya, soon. Their son in the picture is Sean, he's 3, he and Joey love playing together.

Pumpkin Carving

This was a while ago, I have a lot of catching up to do. I brough pumpkins home to carve for FHE. Nate was way more excited than Joey. I was a little disappointed because Joey wouldn't even touch anything, he didn't want to get his hands goopy. But he had a blast playing with the seeds. We tried cooking the seeds for yumminess but the yumminess part failed. They are in a baggy in the pantry waiting for Nate to eat 'em ... I should just throw them away. There's a video at the end where Joey actually talked a little bit, so ... yup!

Some other random information is that Nate and I got callings. Nate is the 11 year old scout master and I am the 8-9 year old Activity day leader. We both love it. Then ... I got called as the ward choir pianist ... again, third time and once again, I don't get to sing like I wanted to. Oh well. Enjoy pics!

Static hair and rolling over!

This weekend we went to Logan for Nate's mission reunion. Then we spent part of Saturday and Sunday with Jessica. She's one hot prego mama! On the way Joey's hair got staticy. He was being grumpy, too. Isn't he cute?
Daniel is one happy boy. He is getting really strong. This morning I snapped these cuties. He started rolling over on Tuesday night. There is a video at the end of him rolling over. Enjoy!

Wonderful Morning

This morning I woke up to wonderfulness. It is one of those times where I am just so in love with my hubby and my boys. I woke up to Joey asking about "Beebee", he was wanting to come in the room and find Daniel but Nate was explaining to him that we were sleeping. So I got up and left Daniel sleeping on the bed. When I came out of the room, I found Nate and Joey in the office. They were sitting at the computer, Joey was cuddled up against Nate and the were looking at pictures of ... well flies, oddly enough. Nate was trying to find out what this fly/bee thing that we saw at zions was called exactly. I was called a spiny something something fly. There is a picture of it in the post about zions, two posts ago. When Joey noticed me, he climbed down and started to pick up the rummikub tiles that he had been playing with. He picked up every 1 that he could find and would tell me between each that it was a 1. He wouldn't find a new one until I confirmed that the one in his hand was a 1. He also knows 6 ... but he seems to think a lot of numbers are 6. He's learning his alphabet too. I made him some magnets with each letter cap and lower case and he has learned A,B,I,J,O,Y, and Z.

Well, then Daniel informed up that he was awake, so I went in to get him. When he saw me he squelled and then started giggling and kicking. I just love that he gets so happy to see me! Last night he wore a bag to bed, one made for 0-9 months old. Well, he's three months old and as long as the bag. He's a really tall boy, from what I think. I picked him up and he cuddled right up to me and I could have just sat there and cuddled all day! While I feed Daniel, Joey sat down on the floor reading his favotire book abour airplanes out loud; he talked up a storm. Then he started pointing to the dinosours on his PJ's and calling them fish, no matter how many times I told him they were dinosaurs. Then Joey went to take a shower, because if either of us are ever taking a shower Joey HAS to take one too.

Well, then Daniel informed up that he was awake, so I went in to get him. When he saw me he squelled and then started giggling and kicking. I just love that he gets so happy to see me! Nate, I was just really glad to see in his real sweetheart form because last night I dreamed that he was some crazen alcoholic abusive husband and he was chasing me to get something that I was holding that would them him how to steal all my money . I finally got to Dad and Brain and Brian hid the info in his pocket. But then I started to fear for Brian ... seriously. I also woke up really glad that I didn't know the women that I met in my dreams last night in real life ... she was a psycho. Can you tell last night was a crazy dream night. Holy cow. Who'd think that you could have crazy dreams like that then wake up happier than most mornings?

He's so cute!

Daniel is now three months old, plus a week. He's seriously the happiest baby you'll ever meet.

I took these last night ... I can't get over how cute this bub is!
