Recently ...

Cuddling with mommy

hugging on the chair
These boys love each other!

We played "Hair Salon" during General Conference. Yeah, I know, we're terrible.

This is all sorts of things, according to Joey, and is one of their new favorite things to pull over.

Um, they found my clothes ...

Got new baseball hat and a ball and bat for Easter.

Joey can hit it almost every time if you throw it good.

Daniel's the pitcher.

Joey is Iron Man

At least he tells us that fairly frequently. He likes the Iron Man song and often requests this. What I can't believe is that Nate managed to get this on video:

Comedy

So recently, Nate and I have been to see some comedy and it's been so good! First, last month we went and saw Bill Cosby at Tuacahn. He's old and set in his chair the whole time. The show was fabulous! It was sad to see him getting old!

Next, was Brian Regan. Yup! He came to SUU and we went and saw him last night. Holy cow he was hilarious. I laughed so hard that at one point I had to make myself stop and breath or I would puke and I'm really not exaggerating. We were sitting at an angle to the stage about ten rows up, so we had a good view of him. All I can say is he is very very funny and we loved it.

Thank goodness for good, clean, funny comedians!

I'm getting married!

Hehe, not really. I've been loosing more weight and recently hit my wedding weight. now I'm passed it and thought I'd try my dress on again. It was so fun! and I feel in love with my dress all over again. I think the second picture makes me look smaller than I am, but Nate says it doesn't, but it does. I'm on my second round of HCG and have lost another 18 pounds. 16 to go for my goal, but I can't complain at all! Since moving to Cedar City/having Daniel, I've lost a total of  56 pounds!!!!! Ignore the messy background, I'm standing the boy's toy area.

conglomeration

Slavery. But Joey likes it! I hope he keeps his enthusiasm for mopping. He's always seemed to have it:

You wouldn't think it of Daniel from this picture, but these boys LOVE their showers.
Most recent snowman model.
Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, the garbage truck comes. It has become a ritual to watch it.
They think it's funny to look at each other from either end of the couch.
The boys think it's so cool to shovel snow. Just wait till they're 16, right?
How you sleep when you're a jail bird
I never considered M&Ms to be a messy, "not-out-of-the-kitchen" kind of treat.
What happens when a 3 year old dresses himself? Shirt backward, pants inside out.

Nate is taking ceramics this semester and really liking it. He seems to be a natural at it. He brought home clay and had Joey and Daniel each make their own mugs.
This is the mug Joey made. The other two below are ones Nate made. Daniel's is yet to come.

A fairly lengthy update that doesn't even include everything :)

Horses and Cars
Joey's only 3; Daniel's only 20 months old. But our boys already have a horse and a car. They're spoiled.
Grandma gave the boys the horse for Christmas. The car was from a friend whose sister was getting rid of it and she took it for our boys. Then, our other friend got her son a bike for Christmas and yesterday, she brought Joey his old bike.

Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue

My boys both think they are Buzz Lightyear. Joey because he likes the movie; Daniel because he does everything Joey does. We got Joey PJ's for his Christmas stocking but the size 3T was already way too small. Luckily, our friend did the same thing for her 5 year old son and decided to just give them to Joey. The 5T fit him well and the 3T fit Daniel (now you know about the sizing of those Walmart $5 PJ boxes). Daniel throws a fit if Joey wear his PJs and he can't. Then, once worn, they have to be worn every night until they are dirty enough that it's worth facing the protests. As soon as the Jammas go on, they turn into Buzz Lightyear. They both put their arms behind their backs, then push a button on their shirt and their wings stick out and they fly around the apartment. It's very cute.

This video shows how they (or at least Daniel) run around with their hands behind their backs:
