Joey's Birthday
Joey turned two on Thursday the 27th. He got a soccer ball, a bike, and a quiet book for church. He was very excited about the bike, but can't quite figure out how to ride it yet. Makaila (our friend from Santa fe who is also going to SUU) came over for his little party and took all of the pictures. Kleston and Judy also stopped by and gave him a toy Monster truck! Here are a bunch of pictures, though out of order:
I guess Daniel got bored

We've moved
Nate and I have moved to Cedar City, Utah for Nate to finish school. We found a great apartment and are working on the unpacking fun. We don't have internet yet, but I thought I'd quickly post. Daniel is now two months old and Joey will be turning 2 on Thursday. We are all happy so far! The move was a little stressful ... a lot of time on the road, loading the truck wasn't any fun ... etc. We were grateful to have help from Scott and Allison loading the truck and then from Jeremy and Megan Young and my Uncle Kleston and Aunt Judy unloading! We had to drive to Cedar City, which took 13 hours because since I was driving we had to stop to feed the baby. Then we spent two days looking at apartments. Then we drove to Provo to pick up our stuff. If you need my address you'll have to email me for it. I hope you are all doing well!

A New Baby!!!
Wednesday, March 25, 2009
FIRST THE NEWS:
1. We are having a boy!
2. Nate has decided to go to SUU, Southern Utah University, in Cedar City Utah. We are very excited and looking for a place to live. He will start in August and should be able to finish by December 2010.
3. Nate got called as the 15-17 year old Sunday school teacher and I am the sunbeam teacher (I get to teach my neice, Lydia and eat snacks with them).
On to the Cute one:
Joey is now 19 months old. He has started Nursery, at church, and seems to like it. He has spent the last week really sick. I cannot tell you how grateful I am that he woke up feeling better this morning. I think that being a stay at home mom is really a challenge when your baby is sick. His gruminess was a nice little test of my patience at times. Here is a morning in the life of 18 month old Joey:

Play on the computer
He usually gets a little chastisement for this one.
Recently he's been better about not touching the computer.
Get Dressed
Get Dressed
Draw in mommy's planner
Jump on the mini-trampoline
Play with his police car
Spin in the computer chair
Play the Piano
Get a gold star on his forehead and eat lunch
Joey also likes to play in Grandma's bowls and wear them on his head.
One advantage to sick Joey's is that they take 3 and 4 hour naps. The disadvantage is that they wake up from those naps grumpy!
Here is a video of Joey telling you all about how he feels being sick:

In case you don't know yet ...
Sorry it's been so long. I've been waiting till I can get good pictures, which won't happen for a while. But, I figured I better post our happenings for those of you who don't know yet:
1. Nate and I moved to Santa Fe for 8 month's or so. Sorry we didn't say goodbye ... He is working and we are trying to pay off our car completely (donations accepted :) ) and rebuild our depleted emergency fund and hopefully start saving a ton. Nate isn't sure about school right now. He is going to reapply for BYU's business school for September but isn't sure if he want's to go there. He is thinking he wants to go to SUU and is also going to apply to NMSU.
2. We are having baby #2. Surprise! We were surprised! I'm due June 25th they say ... I should know soon if it is a boy or girl. Girl preferred, then I will go on 12 types of birth control!! :/
I will try to be better about updating and getting pictures of the cute one up. I can't though, until we set up our computer ... we're still in the process of unpacking, which is funny because we hardly brought anything with us. OYE!
